Consistent evaluation for buying and selling

Whether you sell a device to us or buy one from us, the same criterias apply to the appearance evaluation. This makes it transparent at all times how we grade the display(s), frame, and back cover.

Our Difference: No Flat-Rate Overall Grade

On a used device, not every side looks the same. The display can be almost pristine, while the frame already shows clear signs of use.

That is why verkaufen.ch does not assign a single flat-rate condition grade to the whole device. We evaluate each relevant area individually.

This allows you to assess your device accurately when selling. When buying, you can see exactly what condition the individual areas are in.

Technical condition

When selling your device to us

During the online evaluation, you specify whether your device is in full working order and whether the battery capacity is still within the manufacturer's recommendation.

When buying a device from us

All devices in our shop are in full working order and have been thoroughly tested. As an authorized partner of Apple and Samsung, we have the necessary expertise.

We ensure that the devices we sell:

have no technical defects,
have no water damage,
are reset and unlocked,
are completely cleared of personal data,
contain 100% original parts, and
have a battery capacity of at least 85 percent.

Additionally, you receive a 24-month warranty and a 30-day return policy. That is how confident we are in the quality of our devices.

Overview of cosmetic conditions

The following criterias apply to both selling to us and buying from our shop. Each area of the device is evaluated separately.

Condition: Sealed

The device is brand new and in its unopened original packaging.

Condition: Like new

Display: No or only minimal, barely visible signs of use. These are not visible from a distance of 0.5 meters.

Frame and backcover: No or only minimal, barely visible signs of use.

Condition: Very good (A)

Display: A few light signs of usethat are barely visible when the display is switched on.

Frame and backcover:A few light signs of use that cannot be felt with a fingernail.

Condition: Good (B)

Display: A few light signs of usethat cannot be felt with a fingernail.

Frame and back cover: Multiple light or a few clearly visible signs of wear. Individual scratches may be slightly tactile.

Condition: Fair (C)

Display:Many distinct, but not very long signs of wear. No deep scratches.

Frame: Many distinct signs of wear such as scratches, small nicks, or very small dents.

Backcover: Many distinct signs of wear such as scratches or light scuffs. No deep scratches.
