In our frequently asked questions, you’ll quickly find answers about selling your device to us and purchasing a device from our shop. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, our customer service team will be happy to assist you.

Frequently asked questions about buying a device in our shop

These are used and new devices that we have acquired through our trade-in service from Swiss private customers, leading mobile network operators, renowned retail and online retailers, as well as trusted partners.

The purchased smartphones, tablets, laptops and smartwatches are professionally inspected and cleaned. If a technical defect is detected during the inspection, our certified technicians repair it using original parts.

The devices are sold without a SIM lock and with a 30-day right of return and a 24-month warranty.

    The device is completely new. It is sealed in its original packaging and comes complete with all accessories and manuals.
  1. Like new
    The device is in like-new condition. No signs of use are visible at arm’s length (0.5 m).
  1. Sehr gut
    Wenige, sehr leichte Gebrauchsspuren.
  1. Good
    Many fine scratches/signs of use, or a few noticeable or deep scratches/signs of use (max. 3).
  1. Accetable
    Display: Many noticeable, but not very long, signs of use.
    Housing: Many noticeable signs of use / impact marks / dents or very slight discoloration.

The scope of delivery of our offered devices can vary and is listed on our website for each item. A suitable charging cable is included as standard.
  1. All devices are in stock and ready for shipping.
  1. Ordered and payed today by 4:00 p.m., delivered tomorrow. Orders placed before 4:00 pm will be delivered by Swiss Post during the course of the next business day (Monday to Friday, excluding national public holidays and cantonal holidays in the Canton of Zug). Orders placed over the weekend will be processed on Monday and will arrive on Tuesday.
  1. The parcel is sent with PostPac Priority and is registered for orders with a value of CHF 500.00 or more.
  1. The environment is very important to us and that is why we send all packages climate-neutral with «pro clima» shipping and thus reduce the CO2 emissions.
Payment
You can conveniently pay the invoice using the link provided in the email. The transaction is processed through a secure payment gateway.

As soon as the payment is received, your device will be released for shipment.

Payment methods
  1. Credit cards: MasterCard und Visa
    You can pay with your credit card conveniently and securely.
  2. TWINT
    With TWINT you can pay online; simply log in to your app and confirm the payment. Without additional charges.
  3. PostFinance
    You can pay online with your PostFinance card by using your card number and ID number. Without additional charges.
  4. PostFinance E-Finance
    You can pay with your PostFinance E-Finance account. After selecting the payment method, log in with your E-Finance number and password. The amount will then be debited directly from your PostFinance account free of charge.
  5. Invoice with installment option (POWERPAY)
    You can easily pay your purchase by invoice. After a credit check, the invoice will be sent to you by e-mail. The invoice is processed by the external payment service provider MF Group. You have the option of paying the invoice interest-free all at once or in flexible monthly installments. More information about this is given in the General Terms and Conditions of Powerpay.
  6. Prepayment
    If you choose Prepayment as the payment method, you make your payment via online banking, at your bank or by post.
All products from verkaufen.ch include a 24-month functional warranty, including the battery, from the date of purchase. Damages caused by user error, as well as accidental drops and liquid damage, are excluded. You can read the exact conditions in our terms and conditions.
Have you changed your mind and would prefer to choose a different model? No problem! You can return your device to us within 30 days of receipt. You can find the withdrawal form and further information here.
Contact our customer service within the specified period to claim our warranty service. After making an appointment by telephone, you are welcome to send or bring the unit to us for inspection.

If the defect is covered by the guarantee, we will take care of the repair free of charge. The device will be returned to you free of charge after repair.

The purchase prices are based on the current market value. This depends upon the price development of the new device, its condition and upon supply and demand. The purchase prices are calculated on a daily basis from these values.
  1. Apple ID and other manufacturer locks have been removed.
  2. The product is fully functional, is not bent, and shows no signs of liquid damage.
  3. The product was not imported and was manufactured for use within the European Economic Area.
  4. The product is not locked to foreign SIM cards or mobile networks.
  5. The product and all of its components are original and have not been modified (jailbreak, etc.).
  6. The battery complies with the specifications of the respective manufacturer and therefore has sufficient capacity and does not display any warning regarding too many charge cycles or any specific battery replacement/service message.
If these conditions are not met, Recommerce will provide the customer with an individual offer.

    Display: Very many noticeable signs of use or one very small crack that does not affect functionality. Water resistance can no longer be guaranteed in this case.

  1. Cracks & breaks
    Display: A clearly visible crack, and the functionality of the affected part may be impaired. Housing: Clearly visible cracks, and water resistance can no longer be guaranteed.

We bear the cost of your shipping. You will receive the franking by email, which you only need to print out and affix on your parcel. This way, you can label and frank your device comfortably at home.
After you have completed the sale, you will receive a delivery note and franking by e-mail. The delivery note contains important information for our staff. Print it out and affix it on the top of your parcel.
You can also send in the device yourself by post. Our address is given under Contact Us. Important: In this case, be sure to enclose a note with the order number or your contact details. Please also note that postage will be charged to you in this way.
All devices are reset with a special program before the inspection and all personal data is irrevocably deleted. Any armoured glass must be removed and will not be replaced.

Our inspection team then checks all functions and the condition of the device, regardless of your rating on verkaufen.ch. If the assessment of the inspection team matches yours, the amount will be transferred to your account. If we assess the device differently, we will make you a new offer. If this does not meet your expectations, we will send your device back to you free of charge.

The more accurate your condition information is, the faster we can pay you your money.
If the inspection of the device confirms your condition information or if you have accepted the price proposal, we will usually transfer your credit to you within 48 hours.
The devices we purchase are refurbished and then resold. If a device can no longer be sold, it is recycled in an environmentally responsible manner.
The most important aspect of reusing devices is the 100% deletion of all existing data. This is ensured by special data-erasure software that overwrites the device’s storage several times. The process is documented and, if you wish, we can also send you the corresponding data deletion certificate by email.
As long as you have not yet shipped your device, you can always contact our customer service and cancel the sale.
You can sell us all devices that have a certain market share in Switzerland. The product range is constantly adapted due to product launches and the general market development. If you have any suggestions as to which devices we should purchase, we look forward to hearing from you.
Resale is even more ecological than recycling. Most resources are consumed in the manufacturing process and recycling is very costly. We refurbish purchased devices and resell them. This way you save valuable resources with your sale and do something for the environment.
